THE ROLE OF RESIDENTS’ RELATIVES/VISITORS

We welcome Family and Friends of Patients / Residents, but please be sensitive to their needs and vulnerabilities, so please do not Visit if:

1. You or a visiting partner are feeling unwell (Coughs, Flu, Stomach Upset, or any other symptoms).

2. You are back from a Travel Trip which requires a period of quarantine or has an outbreak of any infections.

3. You are intending to visit as a large group. Often people within our care can be overwhelmed by numbers of visitors, especially those with dementia.

4. Have been to another care setting (including Hospitals), which has an outbreak of an infection.

We always want our Patients / Residents and Staff to be safe. We need to cognisant of peoples frailties, and endeavour to reduce risk to their wellbeing. So, please be assured that we appreciate your support in the operation of our Visiting Policy.

Thank you.
